classic facade

A classic facade is the dressing of a building's exterior with traditional architectural elements such as columns, window surrounds, cornices, sills and moulding bands. It is most often used on apartment blocks, villas and commercial buildings, applied around windows, along floor lines and at eave edges. Polyurethane facade elements are lightweight, so they add no extra load to the structure and bond directly to the wall with construction adhesive. They resist moisture, frost and impact; they do not crack, blister or peel and can be painted. Compared with plaster or stone alternatives, they install quickly and are easy to carry. Because they are mould-cast, the decorative detailing repeats identically on every piece. Polure produces classic facade elements in a range of profiles and sizes.
