classic column plinth

A classic column plinth is a polyurethane base element on which the classic column shaft rests, forming the junction with the floor. It is used to neatly finish the lower transition of the column and complete its classic proportion. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being much lighter than a stone or plaster plinth, it is easy to carry and install. Because each piece is mould-cast, the profile details repeat identically across every unit.
