classic column

A classic column is a polyurethane decorative column element consisting of a base, shaft and capital, designed according to classic architectural proportions. It is used for vertical emphasis and classic style in entrance halls, living rooms, facades and around doors. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being much lighter than a stone or plaster column, it is easy to carry and install and, unlike timber, is not affected by moisture. Because each piece is mould-cast, the flute and profile details repeat identically across every unit.
