Polyurethane Fluted Pilaster Column Decoration Panel

The P5060P fluted pilaster column panel is designed to elevate architectural surfaces, turning ordinary walls into grand design statements. This premium decorative element brings the structure and texture of classical pilasters into contemporary spaces, offering a sophisticated vertical relief that instantly draws the eye. Whether integrated into luxury residential projects or high-profile commercial venues, it serves as a powerful architectural anchor that redefines spatial proportions.

Engineered with a substantial width of 600 mm, a height of 2400 mm, and a subtle depth of 60 mm, this panel is scaled to fit standard interior heights perfectly while maintaining a sleek profile. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), the panel offers structural hardness comparable to wood but with superior physical properties. It features a closed-cell structure with a water absorption rate under one percent, preventing rotting, swelling, or warping. It is highly stable and maintains its dimensions, with dimensional stability tested between -20 °C and +70 °C, making it suitable for both interior and exterior applications.

Visually, the P5060P stands out with its parallel, vertically fluted design. The clean-cut grooves run continuously from top to bottom, creating a rhythmic play of light and shadow that visually extends the height of any room. This classical motif, reminiscent of traditional Greco-Roman columns, is executed with modern precision, ensuring sharp edges and uniform spacing. The pristine white surface comes pre-treated with a factory primer to prepare the panel for its final coats of paint, allowing designers to easily match any custom color scheme.

This versatile panel is ideal for creating focal walls in expansive living rooms, framing entrance portals, or adding depth to hotel lobbies and high-end restaurant interiors. When used outdoors, it can flank main entryways or act as decorative vertical bands on facades, provided it is finished with a UV-resistant paint to prevent yellowing. Unlike heavy plaster alternatives that risk cracking or solid wood panels that are prone to moisture damage, this lightweight polyurethane component is easy to handle and install without putting excessive load on the building structure.

For installation, ensure a clean and dry surface, and use a high-quality polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive along with mandatory mechanical screw fastening. After mounting, fill the joints and screw heads with a suitable filler, sand with 180-220 grit paper, and apply your choice of paint. While the factory primer prepares the surface, applying an additional primer coat prior to the final two coats of paint is recommended according to paint manufacturer guidelines. The result is a seamless, highly durable, and easily maintainable architectural feature that will last for decades.
