Modern Window Architrave

Modern window architrave is a plain-section, lightly ornamented polyurethane frame profile applied around the window opening. Unlike the heavy detail of a classic architrave, it frames the window with flat, clean lines, adding an orderly and contemporary look to the facade. It is used to emphasise the window surround on residential, hotel and shop facades. The polyurethane material is light and is applied with suitable adhesive or fixings; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or peel and can be painted. Being lighter than its stone and plaster equivalent makes installation easier on tall facades and it does not deform in outdoor weather conditions. Its paintable surface matches the facade colour.
