above-window arch

An above-window arch is an arch-shaped polyurethane decorative element fitted to the top of a window. It is used on facade and interior windows to give a classic arched appearance. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly to the wall with adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Installation is easy and fast compared with plaster and, unlike wood, it stands up to damp. Because it is moulded, the arch profile and details repeat identically on every piece.
