Polyurethane Wood Bracket

A polyurethane wood bracket is a polyurethane decorative support element with a wood-textured surface that imitates a real wood bracket, attached to a wall or beam to appear to support beams and rafters. It is used decoratively in rustic ceilings and at beam ends to give the look of a traditional wood bracket; it does not bear loads. Polyurethane is lighter than real wood, resistant to moisture and impact, does not rot, attract insects, crack, and can be painted; unlike a solid bracket it is easy to handle and is applied with assembly adhesive. Because it is mold-cast, the wood texture repeats in harmony with the beam and rafter used. Polure manufactures the polyurethane wood bracket in various size and texture options.
