A round arch profile is the decorative moulding that forms the section and surface line of a semicircular arch, running along the curve. Extending along the curve of the arch, it gives the upper edge of the opening a frame and depth. Joined with flat casing profiles, it forms a line that wraps the entire opening. Round arch profiles made from polyurethane are lightweight and easy to apply on the curved arch surface. They resist moisture and impact, do not crack or swell, and can be painted. Unlike wood profiles they are unaffected by damp. Polure produces round arch profiles so that the section dimension stays consistent, ensuring continuity between the pieces added along the curve.
