Polyurethane Curved Arch Architrave Trim with Keystone

The P1470D101VID is a premium architectural curved arch frame designed to bring classical geometry and structural definition to door frames, window surrounds, and interior passageways. Featuring a prominent central keystone at its apex, this decorative molding serves as an ideal transition piece that instantly elevates the visual height and character of any portal. Its semi-circular design makes it highly versatile for projects aiming to replicate historic Roman or neoclassical aesthetics with modern ease of installation.

Crafted from high-grade rigid polyurethane with a dense 150-220 kg/m³ structure, this architrave measures 170x1309x801 mm. Despite its substantial visual presence and wood-like surface hardness, the product is remarkably lightweight, ensuring it places no unnecessary structural load on your walls or headers. Assess water and moisture exposure using the product technical data, surface finish and installation details.

Visually, the arch is defined by clean, stepped concentric profile lines that catch the light beautifully, creating soft shadow lines along its curve. The integrated trapezoidal keystone acts as a classic crown, anchoring the design and providing a natural focal point. This smooth-surfaced trim is pre-treated at the factory with a white primer coat, providing a clean surface that is ready for your choice of final paint finish to match your building's color scheme.

This versatile architectural element is suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Outdoors, it can be installed over arched windows, main entrance doors, or villa porticos to create a grand facade. Internally, it beautifully frames hallways, transitions between salons and dining areas, or serves as a decorative frame for large alcoves and recessed wall mirrors in high-end hotels, restaurants, and residential properties.

For a secure installation, clean and dry the mounting surface, apply polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive to the rear of the molding, and secure it mechanically with screws. For outdoor applications, finishing with a UV-resistant paint is mandatory to prevent the polymer material from yellowing over time under direct sunlight. While the factory-applied primer prepares the surface for painting, please note that paint manufacturers often require their own specific primers to honor their paint warranties; therefore, applying an extra primer coat remains optional and at the discretion of the customer.
