Polyurethane Round Arch Molding with Ornamental Keystone

The P1456D75VIC semi-circular architectural element offers a sophisticated way to define interior passages and exterior portals. Designed as a structural-looking decorative arch, this piece introduces classical proportions to modern construction, framing doorways, corridors, and windows with refined symmetry. Its curved geometry softens rigid straight lines in hallways, immediately elevating the spatial flow of residential and commercial properties alike.

Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this archway component delivers the solid feel of timber without the vulnerability to moisture, rot, or insect damage. Spanning 1150 mm in width with a height of 671 mm and a generous profile depth of 221 mm, the piece maintains perfect dimensional stability. Unlike traditional plaster, which is heavy and prone to chipping, or EPS foam, which lacks impact resistance, this tough material withstands daily wear and harsh weather conditions effortlessly.

Visually, the arch features a clean, multi-layered stepped molding that draws the eye upward to a central decorative keystone. This central bracket is adorned with a detailed relief of classical acanthus leaves and delicate beadwork, providing an elegant focal point. The smooth, non-porous surface of the curved profile ensures a crisp, seamless finish once installed, blending into the surrounding wall structure as a built-in architectural feature.

This versatile trim is highly suited for luxury hotel lobbies, residential hallway transitions, arched window frames on villa facades, and grand entrance doors. For outdoor installations, applying a UV-resistant topcoat is necessary to protect the material from sunlight exposure. It serves as a durable alternative to heavy masonry or high-maintenance woodwork, ensuring long-lasting visual appeal with minimal maintenance.

Installation is straightforward due to the lightweight nature of the product. Secure the arch to a clean, dry surface using a high-quality polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive, complemented by mechanical screws for permanent stability. The product arrives with a factory-applied primer that prepares the surface for painting; however, because paint manufacturers only guarantee performance over their own base coats, applying an additional primer is optional and at the installer's discretion. Complete the look with two coats of high-quality water-based or synthetic paint.
