Polyurethane Arched Door Pediment with Decorative Keystone

The P1456D44VIC is a premium architectural crowning element designed to bring neoclassical grandeur to arched doorways, windows, and passage portals. This specialized component blends historical design with advanced material technology, offering an efficient way to elevate standard openings into remarkable structural statements. Ideal for both interior focal walls and exterior building facades, it provides a deep, three-dimensional frame that enhances the overall architectural character of high-end residential and commercial properties.

Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane with a density of 150-220 kg/m³, this archway pediment provides the structural durability of traditional hardwood while remaining exceptionally lightweight. With physical dimensions of 840 mm in width, 420 mm in height, and a 221 mm deep projection at the keystone, it is perfectly proportioned for semi-circular architectural layouts. Its closed-cell structure guarantees a water absorption rate of under 1%, making it highly resistant to rot, swelling, and mold, while maintaining dimensional stability in temperatures ranging from -20 °C / +70 °C.

Visually, the arch features clean, stepped concentric profiles that draw the eye toward a prominent central keystone. This ornamental keystone is meticulously detailed with an elegant acanthus leaf scroll and delicate bead-and-reel carvings, providing a rich textured relief that contrasts beautifully with the smooth curves of the arch. The clean, crisp lines are achieved through advanced molding techniques, ensuring flawless symmetry and sharp details that remain sharp even after multiple coats of paint.

This decorative arch is highly versatile, finding its place in luxury villa entrances, historical restoration projects, upscale hotel lobbies, and grand corridor transitions. It can be paired with matching pilasters or columns to frame main entryways, or installed over arched windows to create a cohesive, classical facade. Its moisture-resistant properties also make it an excellent choice for covered porticos, patios, and humid indoor environments like indoor pool halls or spa transition zones.

Compared to heavy gypsum or natural stone, this lightweight polyurethane alternative significantly reduces structural load and simplifies the installation process. It arrives with a factory-applied primer that prepares the surface for painting; however, because paint manufacturers do not guarantee adhesion without their own base coats, an additional primer application is optional and depends on your chosen paint system. The installation requires a polyurethane (PU) mounting adhesive for seamless jointing, accompanied by mechanical screws for long-term safety.
