Polyurethane Decorative Corner Border Relief Element

This high-density decorative corner element is designed to elevate interior wall moldings, ceiling frames, and exterior architectural designs. Functioning as an L-shaped corner accent, it integrates seamlessly with flat profiles to form ornate, classical borders and panels, providing an elevated architectural detail to any residential or commercial project.

Crafted from premium rigid polymer with a density of 150-200 kg/m³, this piece delivers a wood-like hardness while remaining remarkably lightweight. With a temperature resistance spanning from -20°C to +80°C and a water absorption rate under 1%, it remains dimensionally stable over time, resisting warp, decay, and moisture damage in both humid bathrooms and exposed outdoor environments.

The visual design features a prominent scallop shell motif centered directly in the 90-degree corner. Flowing symmetrically outward from the shell are detailed acanthus leaf scrolls that extend along both 560 mm legs. The crisp, deep relief carvings create striking shadow lines, adding a classical, three-dimensional depth that mimics traditional hand-carved masonry.

Ideally suited for multi-layered wall paneling (boiserie), grand ceiling borders, or as decorative frames for mirrors and entryways. On exterior facades, it serves as a beautiful accent piece under roof eaves, around window arches, or at the corners of porticos, offering architects a versatile tool to introduce classical detailing.

Compared to heavy, fragile plaster or moisture-sensitive wood, it installs rapidly. Mount the element securely using a quality polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive paired with mechanical screw fastening. The factory-applied primer prepares the surface for final coating; however, applying an additional primer is optional and at the discretion of the installer to meet specific paint warranties. For outdoor applications, a UV-resistant topcoat is required to prevent discoloration.
