Polyurethane Decorative Pediment Crown P2842

The P2842 is a monumental architectural pediment designed to bring classical majesty to high-end residential and commercial projects. Serving as an impressive crowning piece, this decorative element instantly elevates the architectural value of any facade, grand entryway, or interior portal. Its classical baroque-inspired aesthetic is engineered to act as a dramatic focal point, making it a preferred choice for architects looking to define a building's character with historical grandeur.

Boasting substantial dimensions of 265.8 cm in width, 91 cm in height, and a depth of 20.5 cm, this pediment delivers an undeniable visual impact. It is manufactured from premium rigid polyurethane with a density of 150-220 kg/m³, providing a wood-like hardness and crisp detail definition without the excessive weight of natural stone or plaster. The closed-cell structure ensures a water absorption rate of under 1%, making the element highly resistant to rot, decay, warping, and insect damage, while maintaining dimensional stability in temperatures ranging from -20 °C / +70 °C.

Visually, the P2842 features an intricate, symmetrical composition. At its center lies a smooth, prominent cartouche or heraldic shield, which is flanked by deeply carved, sweeping acanthus leaf scrollwork and elegant volutes that gracefully taper outward. The profound depth of the relief carving creates strong, dynamic shadow lines that enhance the three-dimensional presence of the piece, ensuring that its artistic details remain clearly visible even from a distance or under diverse lighting conditions.

This grand decorative crown is highly versatile, finding its place above monumental villa entryways, large arched windows, grand fireplaces, or as a central accent on exterior pediments. It is ideal for luxury hotels, wedding venues, historic restorations, and premium residential estates. When used outdoors, coating the element with a UV-resistant topcoat is essential to preserve its pristine look and protect it from sun-induced discoloration.

Installing this lightweight polyurethane element is significantly faster and safer than handling heavy gypsum or cast stone alternatives. The process involves securing the piece to a clean, dry surface using polyurethane (PU) mounting adhesive combined with mechanical screws for absolute safety. While the product is delivered with a factory-applied matte white primer that prepares the surface for painting, paint manufacturers generally recommend applying their own specific primers to guarantee optimal topcoat adhesion and warranty coverage.
