Architectural Molding
Polure architectural moldings define interior transition zones and exterior facade borders with crisp geometric elegance. Precision-molded from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these structural profile trims recreate authentic plaster and timber moldings without expansion joint cracking, splintering, or bowing. Featuring a closed-cell polymer structure with low water absorption (below 1%), they handle moisture well and are highly resistant to mold and rot in bathrooms, wellness centers, and outdoor eaves. With dimensional stability tested between -20 °C and +70 °C and rated B2 for fire safety, every molding carries a white acrylic technical primer. Installation requires cutting 45° miter joints, applying continuous polyurethane assembly adhesive on rear surfaces and joining edges, and mechanical screw attachment. Holes are filled, sanded, and painted.

Frequently Asked Questions
What density material is used for Polure architectural moldings?
They are molded from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), providing wood-like mechanical durability and crisp profile detail.
Can architectural moldings be installed in humid bathrooms and outdoors?
Yes. Water absorption is under 1% due to its closed-cell structure, preventing any swelling, warping, or rot.
How are architectural moldings attached to walls or ceilings?
Cut 45° miters with a fine saw, apply continuous polyurethane assembly adhesive along contact faces, and anchor with screws. Fill holes, sand, and paint.
Is PU-based mounting adhesive allowed for installing architectural moldings?
No, silicone is strictly forbidden because it lacks structural bonding strength. Only polyurethane assembly adhesive paired with screws must be used.
What paint finish should be applied to architectural moldings?
Moldings come factory-primed. Interior applications require 2 coats of acrylic paint; exterior facade applications require elastic UV paint.
