Polyurethane Classical Column Capital with Scroll Volutes

The P5220C is a premium structural embellishment designed to crown vertical columns with classical elegance. Bridging the visual gap between the column shaft and the ceiling or architrave, this capital introduces the grand proportions of historic Corinthian and Ionic architectural styles into contemporary designs. It serves as a stately decorative transition that instantly elevates the architectural hierarchy of any space.

Engineered from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), the capital measures 360x360 mm with a height of 277 mm. Despite offering the substantial feel and density of solid wood, it remains remarkably lightweight, reducing structural load and simplifying handling during installation. Its closed-cell composition ensures less than 1% water absorption, making it highly resistant to rot, warping, cracking, or swelling caused by humidity.

The visual detailing of the P5220C is exceptionally crisp, showcasing deeply undercut acanthus leaves that sweep upward from the necking to meet elegant corner volutes. Delicate central rosettes add a touch of floral symmetry to each face. The smooth, pre-primed surface highlights these fine relief lines, offering a high-end, hand-carved stone aesthetic that is free of the surface imperfections often found in plaster casts.

This versatile component is suitable for both interior and exterior applications. It is frequently specified for grand residential entryways, luxury hotel lobbies, wedding venues, classical restaurant interiors, and garden gazebos. Because of its weather-resistant properties, it maintains its structural integrity and sharp details even when exposed to harsh outdoor elements over long periods.

Installing the capital is straightforward and efficient compared to heavy stone or plaster alternatives. It is secured using a high-quality polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive paired with mechanical screws for absolute stability. While the factory-applied matte white primer prepares the surface for immediate topcoating, applying an additional brand-specific primer is optional and left to the installer's preference based on paint warranty requirements.
