Polyurethane Pilaster Column Capital with Acanthus Relief

The P5030CP is a premium architectural component designed to crown flat wall columns with classical Corinthian aesthetics. This flat pilaster capital acts as a prominent structural transition, adding depth and historical grandeur to both interior walls and exterior facades. Engineered for high-end European residential and commercial projects, it delivers a striking visual anchor that elevates standard vertical surfaces into grand architectural statements.

Measuring 150 mm in depth, 543 mm in width, and 420 mm in height, this capital is manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³). This robust material replicates the solid feel of carved timber or stone while remaining remarkably lightweight, preventing structural overloading. With a water absorption rate under 1% and dimensional stability tested between -20 °C and +70 °C, the capital resists rot, swelling, and cracking, making it far superior to traditional gypsum or plaster alternatives.

The visual composition of the P5030CP is defined by deeply carved acanthus foliage cradling elegant side volutes that meet at a central floral rosette motif. The crisp, three-dimensional relief detailing ensures high contrast and shadow definition, even when viewed from a distance. Delivered with a factory-applied primer, the surface is ready for finishing, allowing architects and decorators to apply custom paints, gold leafing, or antique patinas to match the surrounding decor.

Ideally suited for framing grand entrance portals, luxury hotel lobbies, classical villa facades, and refined restaurant interiors. Because it is highly resistant to moisture, it can be seamlessly installed in high-humidity indoor areas or exposed outdoor settings. Use it to top off flat pilaster shafts on feature walls, fireplace surrounds, or flanking main entrance doors to recreate historic European architecture.

Installing the capital is straightforward compared to heavy stone or fragile plaster. It is secured to a clean, dry surface using a high-quality polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive combined with mechanical screws for permanent stability. The joints are then filled with outdoor-grade acrylic filler, sanded with 180-220 grit paper, and finished with two coats of UV-resistant paint for outdoor installations to prevent yellowing. This low-maintenance element provides an enduring, suitable-for-humid-areas, and impact-resistant solution for modern construction.
