Exterior facade decoration is the process of shaping and ornamenting a building's exterior facade with polyurethane decorative elements. Framing windows and doors with moulding, emphasising the eave line with cornice, and adding columns, brackets, and keystones to the facade are the main applications of facade decoration. Because polyurethane elements are light, they apply easily to the facade with mounting adhesive and mechanical fixing; they install faster than stone or concrete and add no extra load to the structure. They resist moisture and impact, do not crack or blister outdoors, and can be coated with exterior paint. As they are mould-produced, the profiles and details repeat identically on every piece and give a clean line on the facade.
