A decorative classical column is a polyurethane column element inspired by antique architectural orders (Doric, Ionic, Corinthian), made up of a shaft, base and capital. It is used as a load-bearing-look decorative element in living rooms, entrance halls, facades and colonnaded passages; it is produced with a plain or fluted shaft. The polyurethane material is light and is applied around an existing structural member with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than stone and plaster alternatives, it installs quickly and can be fitted by a single person.
