Decorative Rafter

A decorative rafter is a polyurethane decorative element that imitates the sloping support beams of a wooden roof and eaves structure. It is used under the eaves and on pergola and veranda ceilings to create a wooden beam look without using real timber rafters. The polyurethane rafter is lightweight and is applied directly to the surface with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted in a wood tone. Unlike real wood, it does not rot, attract insects, or warp. Because it is mould-produced, the wood grain texture repeats identically on every piece. Polure manufactures decorative rafter models in a range of cross-sections and lengths.
