Decorative architectural elements is the general term for polyurethane building ornament pieces such as surrounds, cornices, columns, capitals, corbels and ceiling roses that shape facades and interiors. They are used around windows and doors on a building facade and at ceiling and wall transitions indoors to create architectural character. The polyurethane elements are lightweight and are applied directly to the surface with mounting adhesive; they resist moisture and impact, do not crack or swell, and can be painted. Being lighter than their stone, plaster or wood equivalents, they install quickly and add no extra load to the facade.
