Decorative Architectural Elements

Decorative architectural elements is the general term for polyurethane building ornament pieces such as surrounds, cornices, columns, capitals, corbels and ceiling roses that shape facades and interiors. They are used around windows and doors on a building facade and at ceiling and wall transitions indoors to create architectural character. The polyurethane elements are lightweight and are applied directly to the surface with mounting adhesive; they resist moisture and impact, do not crack or swell, and can be painted. Include the product weight and fixing loads when assessing the substrate and supporting structure. Because they are mould-produced, the profile and ornament details repeat identically on every piece. Polure manufactures decorative architectural elements in a range of types and sizes.
