decorative door surround
A decorative door surround is a polyurethane profile element that frames the edges of doors and windows, adding depth and a defined frame to the facade. It is mounted around door and window openings on building facades and in interiors. The polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and is paintable. On the facade it does not absorb water and is unaffected by weather, and being much lighter than plaster or stone equivalents it is easy to install at height. Because it is mould-cast, the profile cross-section stays the same along every metre. Polure produces decorative surrounds in a range of profile and width options.
