decorative column
A decorative column is a polyurethane column element that gives the look of a vertical support and is used mostly for decoration. It is applied in areas such as lounges, entrances and facades, either on its own or together with the shaft, capital and base parts. The polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and is paintable. Being much lighter than stone or plaster equivalents, it is easy to install and adds no extra load to the floor. Because it is mould-cast, the shaft fluting and profile details stay the same on every piece. Polure produces decorative columns in a range of diameter and height options.
