Classic facade ornamentation describes the dressing of a building's exterior with traditional architectural elements. On the facades of villas, apartment blocks and commercial buildings it is achieved using window surrounds, floor moulding bands, cornices and columns. Because polyurethane elements are lightweight, they place no extra load on the facade and bond directly to the wall with construction adhesive. The material resists moisture, frost and impact; it does not crack, blister or peel and can be painted with exterior paint. Compared with plaster or stone alternatives, it installs quickly and is easy to transport. As it is mould-cast, the profiles and decorative details repeat identically on every piece.
