Classic column decoration is the use of a classic polyurethane column, with its base, shaft and capital elements, as a vertical emphasis in a space. It is applied in entrance halls, living rooms, facades and around doors to establish the classic style. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being much lighter than a stone or plaster column, it is easy to carry and install and, unlike timber, is not affected by moisture.
