Pilaster head models are the different style and size options of the head pieces that sit on top of the pilaster body. Doric, Ionic, Corinthian and plain-profile heads are among these models and are chosen according to the architectural character of the space. On interior and exterior facade walls they are applied over the pilaster body with mounting adhesive. The polyurethane material is lightweight, resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than its plaster equivalent eases the work at high mounting points. Because each model is mould-cast, its relief detail stays the same from piece to piece.
