Plaster Column

Plaster column is a common spelling for the pilaster column, the half-embedded decorative column on a wall, and consists of body, capital and base pieces. It is used on interior and exterior facade walls as a vertical division and classical architectural detailing element. The polyurethane material is lightweight, resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted; it is applied directly to the wall with mounting adhesive. Being lighter than its plaster or timber equivalent eases the work. Because it is mould-cast, the surface and relief details repeat identically on every piece.
