Polyurethane Wood Rafter

A polyurethane wood rafter is a polyurethane decorative profile with wood grain texture embossed on its surface that imitates a roof and ceiling rafter. It is used in attic spaces, gabled ceilings, and rustic decoration to give the appearance of a structural rafter; it is decorative and does not bear loads. Polyurethane is lighter than a real wood rafter, resistant to moisture and impact, does not rot, attract insects, crack, and can be painted; being lighter than a solid rafter, it applies easily to the ceiling and is installed with assembly adhesive. Because it is mold-cast, the wood texture repeats identically on every piece. Polure manufactures the polyurethane wood rafter in various size and texture options.
