Polyurethane Decorative Border
A polyurethane decorative border is a slim, lengthy polyurethane profile used to divide a wall surface horizontally and create a transition line. It is applied as a band line at a certain height on the wall, at the ceiling joint, or as a framing element along panel edges. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, swell or split, and takes paint well. Compared with a plaster border it travels without breaking and installs faster, and unlike wood it is unaffected by moisture. Because it is mould-cast, the profile cross-section stays identical along every metre. Polure produces the decorative border in a range of widths and patterns; on long runs, the pieces are joined with straight cuts.
