polyurethane precast exterior facade

A polyurethane precast exterior facade is a decorative facade arrangement created on a building's exterior surface with polyurethane precast elements. Elements such as surrounds, cornices, sills, columns and panels give the exterior facade a concrete or stone precast appearance; lightweight polyurethane is used instead of heavy concrete. The elements are fixed directly to the facade with construction adhesive and screws. The polyurethane material resists moisture and outdoor weather conditions, does not crack or swell, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Being far lighter than concrete precast reduces handling, crane and installation labour. Since the elements are mould-produced, the dimensions are identical on every piece, giving a continuous, tidy line on the facade. Polure produces exterior facade precast elements in different profile and size options.
