Polyurethane is a cast polymer material with a rigid foam structure used in decoration products. It is used in the production of cornices, window surrounds, columns, coving, ceiling roses, and wall panels as an alternative to plaster and wood. Polyurethane is lightweight, resistant to moisture and impact, does not crack, swell, rot, and can be painted; being lighter than its plaster equivalent, it is easy to carry and is applied directly with assembly adhesive. Because it is mold-cast, surface details repeat identically on every piece and the dimensions are standard. It can be used both indoors and outdoors.
