plain door arch

A plain door arch is a straight-lined polyurethane arch element, free of raised motifs, applied above the door opening. It is used to frame the top of the door and create a clean accent on the facade or indoors. Polyurethane is lightweight, so it is fixed directly with construction adhesive and supported with a screw where needed. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Compared with a plaster or timber equivalent, it is unaffected by damp and installs quickly. Because it is mould-cast, the arch section repeats identically on every piece. Polure produces the plain door arch in a range of spans and profiles.
