Polyurethane Arched Wall Molding with Carved Keystone

The P1456D135VIC arched trim is an architectural element designed to frame doorways, windows, or decorative wall alcoves with classical elegance. By introducing a curved transition, this semi-circular molding softens the rigid lines of standard rectangular door frames, adding depth and a sense of luxury to interior passages and exterior portals alike.

Boasting dimensions of 221x1750x971 mm, this arch spans 1.75 meters, making it an excellent fit for double doors, wide hallway transitions, or grand window headers. Crafted from high-density rigid polymer foam (150-220 kg/m³), the product delivers the solid feel and durability of traditional timber or stone without the heavy structural load. Its closed-cell composition ensures it remains moisture-resistant, reducing susceptibility to the rot, warping, or cracking common in plaster and MDF alternatives.

Visually, the arch features a stepped, clean profile that sweeps upward to meet a highly detailed central keystone. This ornamental keystone is embellished with traditional acanthus leaf carvings and delicate scrollwork, offering a striking focal point that draws the eye upward and enhances the overall height of the room.

This versatile architectural piece is suitable for premium residential projects, upscale hotel lobbies, and historic renovations. When coated with a UV-resistant topcoat, it performs exceptionally well on exterior facades, framing arched windows or grand entryways to create an authentic neoclassical facade.

Installation is straightforward compared to heavy gypsum casts. The lightweight arch is adhered using a high-quality polyurethane (PU) mounting adhesive and secured mechanically with screws for absolute stability. While the factory-applied surface primer prepares the molding for topcoating, an additional primer coat may be applied optionally depending on your specific paint manufacturer's guidelines.
