facade ornamentation

Facade ornamentation is the name for the process of decorating a building's exterior with polyurethane elements, and for the set of those elements. With pieces such as mouldings, profiles, arches, keystones, consoles, columns and panels, window surrounds, floor divisions, eaves and entrance areas are decorated. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly to the wall with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Being lighter than stone and plaster equivalents, it adds no extra load to the facade and installs faster. Polure casts the elements used in facade ornamentation in different forms and sizes, so the ornament detail repeats identically on every piece.
