A decorative wooden log is a wood-textured polyurethane decorative element that imitates the form of a tree log. It is used in rustic interiors as wall decor, a display piece or theme decoration to give the look of natural wood. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, warp or rot, and can be painted in wood tones. It is far lighter than a real log, does not attract insects and is unaffected by moisture; because it is mould-cast, the texture details are crisp.
