Polyurethane Decorative Rustic Wood Beam Model

The P1981H faux wood beam offers a lightweight, highly durable alternative to heavy timber, designed to bring the warm, rugged aesthetic of aged oak to modern architecture. Measuring 100x3000x100 mm, this decorative element replicates the deep grain, organic cracks, and hand-carved texture of natural solid wood without the structural load or maintenance demands of traditional lumber. It serves as an ideal architectural accent for ceilings, trusses, and wall installations.

Engineered from high-density rigid polyurethane, this product features a closed-cell structure with a density of 150-220 kg/m³, providing a sturdy, wood-like hardness. Unlike real timber, it is highly resistant to moisture, decay, and insect infestations, showing less than 1% water absorption. Its dimensional stability has been tested between -20 °C and +70 °C, ensuring no warping, splitting, or shrinking over time, even in humid environments.

The surface of the P1981H showcases an incredibly authentic rustic texture, complete with detailed growth rings, rugged knots, and deep wood grain characteristics. The product is supplied with a factory-applied primer coat that prepares the surface for finishing. This prep coat facilitates excellent adhesion for water-based or synthetic paints, allowing you to stain or paint the beam to match any desired wood tone, from light ash to deep dark walnut.

Perfect for both residential and commercial spaces, these beams can be utilized to create stunning ceiling grids in spacious living rooms, rustic restaurants, hotel lobbies, and mountain chalets. Additionally, when coated with UV-resistant paint, they perform exceptionally well in outdoor settings, such as under porch roofs, patio ceilings, or as decorative exterior rafters, adding structural depth to facades.

Compared to heavy solid wood or fragile plaster, this lightweight alternative is remarkably easy to install, saving significant labor and time. For a secure mount, prepare a clean, dry surface, cut the beam to size, apply polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive, and secure mechanically with screws. While the factory primer prepares the surface, applying an additional primer is optional and depends on your choice of paint manufacturer guidelines; Polure does not assume liability for paint finishes.
