A decorative pilaster is a polyurethane facade and interior element that gives the appearance of a flat, half-recessed column attached to the wall. Applied to the wall surface, it creates a column effect and is used for vertical emphasis beside doors, on facade corners, and across wall sections. It consists of a shaft, base, and capital. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with construction adhesive; unlike stone or plaster equivalents it adds no structural load. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and can be painted. Because it is moulded, the profile and details repeat identically on every piece.
