Decorative column decoration is the complete column decorating scheme built by bringing together polyurethane column parts such as the shaft, capital and base. It is applied in areas such as lounges, entrances and facades to give the space a vertical accent and a classic look. The polyurethane parts are lightweight and joined with mounting adhesive; they resist moisture and impact, do not crack or swell, and are paintable. Being lighter than stone or plaster equivalents, the assembly is fast and adds no extra load to the floor. Because the parts are mould-cast, the diameter and profile match is maintained.
