With crown, pediment, arch or profiled transition elements, it emphasises the upper section of the door entrance. The polyurethane material is light and applies directly with assembly adhesive and screws; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. Being lighter than plaster makes above-door installation easier, and unlike wood it is unaffected by moisture.
