Classical Facade Column Unit

A classical facade column unit is an upright element suited to the classical order, used at entrances, corners or between windows on a building facade; it consists of a shaft, capital and base. It adds vertical emphasis and symmetry to the facade and highlights entrance and portico sections. It is mould-cast from exterior-grade polyurethane; since its shaft is hollow it is lightweight, and it is fixed to the facade with adhesive and a mechanical connection. It resists moisture, frost and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Being far lighter than stone and concrete, installation is fast and it adds no extra load to the facade. Because it is mould-cast, the shaft and capital profile are identical on every piece.
