classic pilaster column

A classic pilaster column is a polyurethane column element produced in a classical style applied half-embedded into the wall. It is used on living room, hall, entrance and facade walls to give a flat wall the appearance of a classical column; it consists of shaft, capital and base pieces. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than its stone and plaster equivalents, it is easy to install and does not place much load on the wall. Because it is moulded, the shaft fluting and capital details repeat identically on every piece.
