window ornamentation

Window ornamentation is the general name for the polyurethane ornamental elements applied around a window opening to highlight the frame decoratively. Pieces such as surrounds, trim, crowns and keystones are used to accent window edges on facades and interiors. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel, and can be painted. Being lighter than plaster or stone equivalents, installation is fast and it is not damaged by water on the facade. Because it is mould-cast, the ornamental detail repeats identically on every piece. Polure produces window ornamentation pieces in a range of sizes and motifs.
