polyurethane support column

A polyurethane support column is a decorative polyurethane column element that has no load-bearing function and gives the visual impression of support. It is used for decoration indoors and outdoors in front of walls and beneath passages and arches; it consists of a shaft, base and capital. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Because it is far lighter than stone or concrete, installation is easy and fast. Since it is mould-cast, the fluting and capital detail repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces polyurethane support columns in a range of diameters and heights.
