polyurethane coffee table column

A polyurethane coffee table column is a column-shaped support element that holds up a coffee table or console top from the centre. In classic furniture where a central column is preferred over a single leg, it is mounted under the top. Polyurethane is light and easy to carry and install; because it resists moisture it will not crack or swell. The surface can be painted and polished to match the top colour. The grooves and ornament on the column shaft are mould-cast, so they repeat identically on every piece. It can be applied as a full set with a base and capital.
