Surface Preparation and Coating Standards
All units leave the production facility with a factory-applied primer layer. This specialized coating optimizes surface tension and ensures uniform adhesion for subsequent paint layers. It is compatible with high-quality water-based and synthetic architectural paints. However, please note that paint manufacturers generally do not guarantee their coatings unless their proprietary primers are applied first. For this reason, applying an additional local primer before final painting is optional but highly recommended, depending on the paint brand selected. Polure does not provide paint warranties and accepts no liability for third-party coating performance. For all outdoor installations, the application of a high-grade, UV-resistant exterior paint is mandatory to prevent surface yellowing over time.

When applied outdoors, coating the panels with a UV-stabilized exterior paint is mandatory to protect the polymer matrix from solar degradation.
Installation
Successful installation requires adherence to precise mechanical and adhesive steps to ensure structural permanence. 1. Surface Inspection: The substrate must be thoroughly cleaned, dried, and structurally sound. Remove any loose plaster, dust, or peeling paint. 2. Precision Cutting: Use a fine-toothed hand saw or a professional miter saw to execute clean 45-degree corner joints. 3. Adhesive Application: Apply a high-quality polyurethane (PU) montaj yapıştırıcısı in a continuous bead or zigzag pattern on the back of the panel. Do not use silicone adhesives under any circumstances, as they lack the necessary structural bond strength. 4. Mechanical Anchoring: For safety and long-term stability, mechanical fastening with screws is mandatory. Secure the panels into the wall studs or solid masonry. 5. Seam and Screw Concealment: Fill all screw holes and joints with an appropriate joint filler (use specialized exterior-grade putty for outdoor applications). Once dry, sand the filled areas using 180-220 grit sandpaper for a flush surface. 6. Finishing: Apply an optional paint manufacturer-approved primer, followed by two coats of premium water-based or synthetic paint (UV-resistant for exterior applications).
Care Information
Maintaining the pristine appearance of these rigid synthetic panels is highly straightforward. For routine dust removal, use a soft microfiber cloth or a vacuum cleaner equipped with a soft brush attachment, which easily navigates the deep recesses of 3D patterns. For deeper cleaning, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and a mild, pH-neutral soap solution. Avoid harsh solvents, abrasive scrubbing pads, bleach, or highly acidic chemical cleaners, as these can degrade the protective paint coating. The underlying closed-cell polymer does not rot, harbor bacteria, or decay, ensuring long-term structural durability with minimal maintenance.
