Polyurethane Round Arch Molding and Curved Frame Decor

The P2001D285VO polyurethane round arch molding is a premium architectural element designed to introduce soft, fluid curves into structured spaces. Ideal for framing curved doors, window arches, or wall passages, this decorative profile transforms hard corners into elegant architectural features. It serves as a visual bridge, adding depth and architectural character to both classical and contemporary projects across Europe.

Manufactured with a high density of 150-220 kg/m³, this rigid polyurethane trim offers exceptional impact resistance while remaining remarkably lightweight. With precise dimensions of 27 mm in depth, 1054 mm in width, and a 208 mm arch height, the profile ensures structural stability. Its closed-cell composition provides water absorption of less than 1%, making it highly resistant to rot, mold, and swelling in humid environments. Its dimensional stability has been tested between -20 °C and +70 °C.

Visually, the P2001D285VO displays a beautifully balanced wave-like cross-section. The design features a smooth recessed center flanked by delicate raised ridges along the edges. This specific configuration plays with natural light, creating soft shadow lines that enhance the curved form. The clean, unornamented surface offers a refined aesthetic that integrates seamlessly with existing flat wall moldings and architraves.

This versatile curved profile is highly functional for various decorative applications. It is widely used to crown arched windows on exterior facades, frame grand entryway portals, or create decorative arched niches in luxury living rooms. In commercial spaces such as boutique hotels and restaurants, it can be applied to hallway transitions and gallery openings to create an expansive, high-end feel.

Installing the polyurethane arch is fast and efficient compared to heavy plaster alternatives. The product is delivered with a factory-applied white primer that prepares the surface for painting. Secure installation requires applying polyurethane (PU) mounting adhesive and reinforcing with mechanical screws. Once the joints and screw heads are filled and sanded with a 180-220 grit paper, the surface is ready for a final coat of water-based or synthetic paint.
