Chandelier Medallion

Polure chandelier medallions create impressive decorative backdrops for hanging light fixtures, pendants, and classic chandeliers in grand entryways, dining halls, and living rooms. Engineered from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these medallions capture traditional plasterwork details without adding excessive weight to ceiling structures. Their closed-cell composition ensures water absorption stays below 1%, preventing warping, sagging, or mold formation under changing humidity conditions. Designed for thermal stability across -100 °C / +80 °C with Class B2 fire safety, they come pre-coated with a white acrylic primer. Installation is achieved using continuous PU assembly adhesive and countersunk screws.

Frequently Asked Questions

What material is used for the Polure chandelier medallion?

It is crafted from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), combining intricate relief detail with a lightweight structure and Class B2 fire safety.

Can the chandelier medallion support the physical weight of a heavy fixture?

No, Polure medallions are purely decorative. The chandelier itself must be anchored directly into the structural ceiling ceiling beam or electrical box.

How is the chandelier medallion mounted to the ceiling?

Apply continuous PU assembly adhesive to the rear contact surface and secure with countersunk screws. Cut a central hole for electrical wiring.

What paint finish is recommended for chandelier medallions?

Any interior water-based, synthetic, or cellulosic paint can be applied after lightly sanding the pre-primed surface with 180-220 grit.
