A classic polyurethane surround is a polyurethane profile produced in a classical style that frames door and window edges. It is used on building facades and indoors to frame the area around doors and windows, creating a visual frame and depth. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being suitable for exterior use, it is unaffected by rain and moisture; lighter than a stone surround, it is quick to install.
