decorative pilaster column

A decorative pilaster column is a polyurethane decoration element applied attached to the wall, giving the appearance of a half-column. Unlike a fully round column, it rests against the wall; on facades and in interiors it creates a vertical column effect beside doors, on wall corners, and across wide wall sections. It consists of a shaft, base, and capital. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with construction adhesive; unlike a stone or concrete column it adds no structural load. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and can be painted. Because it is moulded, the profile and details repeat identically on every piece.
