Polyurethane façade ornamentation is the general name for the polyurethane products used to decorate a building's outer surface with ornamental elements. It covers pieces such as casings, cornices, arches, bosses and medallions; it adds embossed decorative detail to the façade surface. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly to the façade with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture, weather conditions and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted with exterior paint. Being far lighter than stone and concrete, installation becomes easier. Since it is mould-cast, the motif detail repeats identically on every piece.
