polyurethane plain column

A polyurethane plain column is a type of decorative polyurethane column with a smooth, unfluted shaft. It is used in interiors and exteriors to clad load-bearing columns or piers, or to create a simple architectural accent. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. Being far lighter than stone and plaster columns, it can be carried and mounted by one person. Because the plain shaft form is mould-produced, it stays the same along its length. Polure produces plain columns in different diameters and heights.
